In the heart of the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria La Nova is a mysterious tomb monument that, according to some theories, is the tomb of Vlad III, known as Vlad the Impaler or Dracula. Vlad III was a 15th century nobleman, famous for being the inspiration behind the legendary character of Count Dracula.
